Amazon Sales is Going To start on 19/01/2019. There are Some Great Smartphone deals and in this Post we will be focusing on redmi note 8 pro.
If you are looking to buy the best smartphone under 15k, Undoubtedly as of now redmi note 8 pro is the best choice. It comes with an Awesome 64mp Quad camera setup, Helio G90T processor, Premium glass build and an HDR Display. Unlike some Previous Models it also has a dedicated SD Card Slot which is not part of the dual sim tray.
There 3 variants of Redmi note 8 Pro 6gb 64gb (6gb Ram, 64 Internal Storage), 6gb 128gb, 8gb 128gb. Even though there is 3 models I will only Recommend you to look in to 64gb and 128gb variants.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖/𝟏𝟐𝟖𝐠𝐛 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 :
It’s mainly because of two reasons,
- Price is 18k. Even with a card discount (max 1500), the price will be 18000-1500 = 16500. With 1000rs more you can get Realme X2 6gb/128 which has an AMOLED display an in display fingerprint scanner and snapdragon 730G Processor.
- There is no increment in internal storage. Yes you will get 2GB of additional RAM but i don’t think anyone needs 8Gb RAM as of now.

Lets take a look at which one (64/128) will be more value for your money.
In normal cases, the 6/128 version is an undoubtedly better deal than 6/64. That’s because the 6/64 sells for 15000 and 6/128 sells for 16000, the price difference is only 1000rs. For that 1000rs you are getting 64gb of high-speed internal memory.
𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐯𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞
Even an average 64gb class 10 card like Samsung Evo plus or Sandisk ultra will cost you 700rs. If you look up to high-speed cards like Sandisk extreme pro the price will be like 1700-1800rs for 64gb. Even these high-speed cards will not perform as efficiently as internal memory. In My opinion If you are getting an Additional 64Gb of internal storage for around 1000-1500rs you should definitely take it.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐁𝐈 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫
In this sale only the base version got a price cut of 1000rs. That is, the base version is now available for 14k instead of 15k and the 6/128 version is still at 16k. So now the price difference is 2000rs. In that case, If your budget is limited you may go with the 6/64 version

Now if you have SBI “CREDIT” cards you may avail an additional 10% discount, in that case, you can get the 6/64 version for 12600rs and the 6/128 for 14400rs. In that case, the price difference is 1800rs. Here I have a 50-50 opinion if you are ready to spend go for 128gb otherwise stick with the base version.

Now If you have a phone to exchange story completely changes because the 64gb version offers only an additional exchange price of 1000rs but the 128gb version has an additional discount of 2000rs. That will again bring both prices at a difference of 1000rs. In that case, you can blindly go for the 6/128gb version
